Purpose of Position
GHS Engineering has a current project requiring Labourers and Trades Assistants for a roster of 5.5 days a week ongoing until Christmas 2017. These positions are responsible for undertaking works as directed at our project site. All members of the team have a shared responsibility in keeping themselves and all employees safe from harm. Geographical Coverage
Regional Western Australia, permanently based in Geraldton.
General Labouring Duties.
Assisting Tradesmen as Directed.
Keeping the site tidy, storage and retrieval of material.
To act with integrity, honesty and ethically at all times.
Proactively engages to create a safer workplace. Meets or exceeds GHS Engineering's site Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Other duties as directed by GHS Engineering Supervisors.
Role Specific Competencies
Good communications skills.
Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
Practical experience in grinding, welding, sheet metal or roofing and or scaffolding experience. Minimum preferred experience 2 years.
Construction Industry White Card (essential)
Worksafe WA High Risk Licence - Forklift (preferred)
