Purpose of Position

GHS Engineering has a current project requiring Labourers and Trades Assistants for a roster of 5.5 days a week ongoing until Christmas 2017. These positions are responsible for undertaking works as directed at our project site. All members of the team have a shared responsibility in keeping themselves and all employees safe from harm. 
Geographical Coverage 


Regional Western Australia, permanently based in Geraldton.


Key Responsibilities

  • General Labouring Duties.
  • Assisting Tradesmen as Directed.
  • Keeping the site tidy, storage and retrieval of material. 
  • To act with integrity, honesty and ethically at all times.
  • Proactively engages to create a safer workplace. Meets or exceeds GHS Engineering's site Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Other duties as directed by GHS Engineering Supervisors.

Role Specific Competencies

  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
  • Practical experience in grinding, welding, sheet metal or roofing and or scaffolding experience. Minimum preferred experience 2 years.

License Requirements:

  • Construction Industry White Card (essential)
  • Worksafe WA High Risk Licence - Forklift (preferred)
  • Drivers Licence - Truck Licence (strongly preferred)
  • Current Working at Heights (essential)
  • Current Confined Space (preferred)
