About the Position
GHS Solutions is offering Full-Time Traineeships in which trainees will receive on-the-job experience and mentoring from our employees and external training partners. Successful candidates will learn the business from the ground up and will attain a Certificate III in Scaffolding upon completion of their traineeship. 

Trainees will receive a 12 to 18 month traineeship with a career pathway that could lead into a permanent position, working with GHS (on-the-job training) and simultaneously undertake study with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and gain a National Accreditation Certificate III in Scaffolding. 

GHS Solutions is offering mature aged traineeships paying above award rates. 

The trainee scaffolder forms an important part of the scaffolding team and is able to gain hands-on skills and work experience while earning a wage. The traineeship enables the trainees to acquire training and skill development in scaffold erection and dismantling scaffolding to provide work platforms on buildings or industrial sites, or for temporary structures such as stages and seating.

Qualified scaffolders are assigned to trainees as mentors to provide further coaching and development. 

GHS traineeships are comprehensive and designed to produce highly skilled and experienced scaffolders at the completion of their training. We always seek to retain quality, high level skills and experience within our company and where we are able to, offer further development opportunities within supervisory and or management capacity. 

Qualifications you will obtain during the Traineeship

• Operate elevated work platforms (EWP's)
• Intermediate scaffold licence
• Licence to perform Dogging
• Work Safely at Heights
• Licence to operate a Forklift truck
• Plus other unit of competencies 

Geographical Coverage 

Servicing the Midwest region, Western Australia.

Role Specific Competencies

• Good communications skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable working at heights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing.

 License Requirements:

• Construction Industry White Card (essential)
• Current Police Clearance (essential)
• Drivers Licence - Truck Licence (preferred)
